Wristbands vs Cards: How Spring Break Party Card Pickup Works

Buying a party card online is the easy part. The part people forget to plan is getting it in their hand once they are in town. Here is how pickup usually works, and the details to know for the PCB Club Card.

Card, wristband or phone?

Spring break passes come in three formats:

• Physical card. You pick it up once and show it at each door for the week. It is easy to carry in a phone case.
• Wristband. Put on at pickup and worn all week. Hard to lose, but you will be living in it, including at the beach.
• Digital only. A QR code on your phone. Convenient until your battery dies at midnight.

The PCB Club Card is a physical card. After checkout you get a digital confirmation, then you pick up the card in Panama City Beach.

• Where: the Welcome Center at Hammerhead Fred’s, 8752 Thomas Dr, Panama City Beach.
• When: Noon to 11 PM, starting Saturday, Feb 27, 2027.
• Bring: your valid photo ID and your order confirmation.

What to bring, in order of importance

1. Valid photo ID. No ID, no card. The same ID gets you in (18+) and served (21+).
2. Your order confirmation. Screenshot it before you leave home, so a weak signal in line does not matter.
3. Your own phone, charged. Not your friend’s. Each person picks up with their own ID and confirmation.

When to go (our advice)

Pickup runs from Noon, so use the afternoon. Go after you check in, before dinner, while you are still fresh. The worst time to pick up a party card is ten minutes before you want to use it. If your crew arrives on different days, each person can pick up when they get there: there is no need to wait for everyone.

Pickup and transfers

This matters if plans change. On the PCB Club Card, refunds are available up to 7 days before your week starts, and you may also transfer your pass to another eligible attendee before pickup. Once the card is picked up, that window has closed. So if someone in your group is a maybe, sort it out before anyone collects their card. There is more on that in buying party cards for a group.

Common pickup mistakes (ours, from experience)

• Bringing a photo of your ID instead of the ID itself.
• Letting one friend hold everyone’s confirmations, then splitting up.
• Planning pickup for the night you want to use the card, when the line is longest.

Lost your card?

PCB Club Card does not publish a lost-card policy on its site. Ask them before your trip through the PCB Club Card contact page, and treat the card like your ID once you have it.
